We've kept our latest boilie recipe under wraps until now and so far the testing is looking better than we ever expected. Our new field tester James Todd (See the field testing Blog) has had some great results with the new bait out fishing another very well known companies brand at a rate of 5:1 on only 1 rod v's 2 rods. Follow up trips to the bank have shown more of the same. At the moment we don't have a name for the boilie recipe and we expect to continue testing for some time yet as well as making a few tweaks here and there.

The aim of the new bait is by no means to be the next inexpensive 'wonder bait' for 6 quid a kilo but aimed at producing a long term feed bait for all year round use with a good response from fish from the off. To achieve this we will be using more of the high end ingredients more commonly seen in home mades rather than in mass produced baits. Inherently this is going to push the price of the product up but our main target is going to be using less bait to get the same results. This giving a lower cost overall without resorting to high attract baits that tend to blow with long term use. Keep an eye on the blog news and field testing threads for the latest updates.
